Who is responsible for your data

Smart Review Stand is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to hello@smartreviewstand.example with any question about this policy or to use the rights listed below.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, your name if you give it, and a password that is stored only as a salted hash. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Messages: the name, email address, and text you send through the contact form.
• Chat: the questions you type into the assistant. When you are signed in, the conversation is saved to your account so you can come back to it. When you are not signed in, it is not saved.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser type, which our hosting and security providers process to deliver pages and stop abuse.

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and provide the service (contract).
• To answer the messages you send us (legitimate interest in replying to you).
• To protect forms from automated abuse with Google reCAPTCHA (consent, given through the cookie settings).
• To send account emails such as a welcome message or a sign-in link (contract).

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase: database, authentication, and server functions.
• Resend: delivery of account and notification emails.
• Groq: generates the assistant's replies from the text you type.
• Google: sign-in with Google, and reCAPTCHA if you allow it.
• Our web hosting provider: serves the pages of this site.

Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

• Account data: for as long as the account exists, then deleted within 30 days.
• Contact messages: 24 months after the last reply.
• Saved chat conversations: until you delete them or close your account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@smartreviewstand.example and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

The cookie policy lists what is stored on your device and lets you change your choice.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we email account holders before it takes effect.
